NEET 2025 CUT OFF ?
firstly , extremely difficult paper. Nta is fed up this year so it might set difficult paper to avoid discrepancies next year. It was evident in 2016( toughest neet paper) after 2015 reneet. However neet students will get an idea by looking into the jee main paper in jan 2025. Accordingly u will have still 3–4 months to upgrade the level of questions you practice(if needed)
But the cutoff in this kind of paper will be low but not very less( as student efficiency is increasing). So around 610–620 might be the cutoff. Secondly, easy ncert based paper as in 2024. Just pray that such a paper doesn’t come. In this case accuracy and your mindset in the exam will be the key. This means a single silly mistake can cost you thousands of rank. Also there are several droppers for next year which will again cause a lot of menace.
Possibility of such a paper is less but in this case the cutoff will be even higher than 2024. Might be around 660+ (Such a situation is dreadful for students of delhi, up, bihar , rajasthan) If you score like 690+ then I guess you are on safer side in both the possibilities. Its hard but not that difficult as well.
Year Wise Cut off Till Now
In NEET 2022 , at 612 marks the rank was around 15–16k But in NEET 2023 , at 612 marks the rank was around 22–23k This year so many students are scoring 650+ as the level of paper was on easier side so cutoff will be very high if you compare from last year. As the range of marks decrease number of students at that ranges increases . According to Paper analysis by Allen , PW and other institution and number of seats increment . If the counselling rules remain same as compared to last year . The cutoff for 2024 would be for All India Quota ( 15%) - GEN - 620–623 with All india Rank ( 23-25k ) OBC - 622–620 EWS - 618
